Bean-to-bar, Transport, Schokofahrt, Chocolate, Tres Hombres

This weekend they will be on our doorstep again!

About 100 Germans and an occasional Austrian are cycling with their cargo bikes from different parts of Germany to Chocolatemakers to pick up our organic Tres Hombres chocolate and cycle it back to Germany. The idea of the #Schokofahrt is to transport the organic chocolate to Germany completely emission-free. The cocoa beans were sailed from the Dominican Republic to the Netherlands on the sailing ship the Tres Hombres and transported to the factory on cargo bikes. We made delicious chocolate from them and the Germans brought them home by cargo bike.
