Junior Chocolate Scavenger Hunt

Come visit the real chocolate factory and discover all about chocolate through a scavenger hunt. Suitable for children aged 7-13.

For us, making real chocolate means doing it consciously, sustainably and with high quality and as little waste as possible. We are the only one in the Netherlands to control all the steps involved in turning the cocoa bean into a chocolate bar. This allows us to carry out all the steps in the process in the most environmentally friendly way possible. We think about everything, even the ink on the packaging! We believe in change; after all, things can be much better!

Duration approx. 1.5 hours

Walk-in 15 min before start
Price € 12,50 (7-13 years) + 1 free candy bar

Food and drink

Food is NOT allowed to be taken into the factory. You may bring a bottle of water. Of course, we will also provide drinks.

Accessibility

You will find the Chocolatemakers factory on the Radar road 32A.

OV: This is a 15-minute walk from Sloterdijk Station. From the main entrance walk to the right, towards Radarweg and follow it for about 1 kilometer until you see the Seamen's Centre on the left side of the road. Walk there and in front of the Seamen's Centre turn left. And then immediately turn right.
Bike: Super if you come by bike! We have plenty of room on our property.
Car: If you come by car, there is limited parking on our grounds.

Accessibility

You have to go up (and down) some stairs. So unfortunately it is not possible to visit the factory with a wheelchair.

Cancellation policy

Cancellations can be made free of charge up to 24 hours in advance; we will then reschedule your booking.
Cancellations within 24 hours are not refundable due to the reservation of guides and cannot be rescheduled.
Cancel by emailing tours@chocolatemakers.nl

Note!

If the weather is too warm and/or the number of participants too low, we are unfortunately forced to cancel the tour. You will of course be notified, and we will try to plan another day as soon as possible.
