Village Hope works to reduce poverty in rural areas of Sierra Leone by creating trained farmers who grow high-quality organic produce and earn a steady income. Together, we have established production of the region's first superior quality cocoa. A region previously known for low quality cocoa.

Together with the farmers we have worked to build and set up central fermentation and drying, which has brought about a huge improvement in quality. The genetic background of the indigenous cacao is Trinitario cacao from the Caribe, an absolute fine flavor cacao. Which, thanks to quality and process improvements, you can now actually taste!
