We do indeed try to get as much cocoa as possible to Amsterdam on board of the sailing ship Tres Hombres. Completely powered by the wind power, there is no engine on board. That way of transportation is more expensive and it takes 4-6 months per crossing. But we wouldn't trade it for a container ship. The bars with a sailing ship on the packaging and our chocolate sails are all made from the 'sailboat cocoa'. We also choose the most sustainable transport possible for our other origins, and hope that in the future we can have all our cocoa come by sailboat.
